The Warewash Business Division produces Hobart brand commercial dishwashers that are used in hotels, casinos, restaurants, cruise ships, schools, universities and retail establishments. We are the industry leader and are seeking to expand our growth in existing served markets as well as new markets.
Job Description
Develop, test, and implement process adjustments and/or new manufacturing techniques to reduce cost/waste, and to improve safety, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
Utilize ITW’s Toolbox in leading change, providing troubleshooting on process and tooling, and draft/design layouts/workspace to achieve maximum efficiency.
Create and develop engineering project documentation, Standard Operating Procedures, and train production employees.
Perform capacity planning/provide solutions to meet continued growth. Manage capital projects from quoting/approval through implementation/training.
Support maintenance in root cause analysis, strategies to reduce mechanical downtime, and drafting/implementing preventive maintenance practices.
Perform other tasks and functions as directed for the benefit of the business.
Limited travel (less than 10%) to domestic locations such as manufacturing, supplier, and customer facilities
Qualifications
Safety focused mindset, able to identify unsafe actions/conditions
Engineering experience with the ability to solve complex problems; detailed oriented
Create and develop engineering project and standard operating procedures/safety documentation
An individual with Product validation experience through testing or analytical methods
Problem solving and Root cause analysis skills/experience
Organized, detailed orientated, execute projects within timelines, self-starter, ability to work with hands and to work in mechanically orientated situations
Knowledge of 3-D software, preferably using AutoCAD and/or Pro-E (Creo) software
MS Office application proficiency
