Civil Engineer Designer - Site/Land Development

As one of the top-ranked consulting engineering firms in the nation, providing surveying, engineering, construction management and environmental services, we have an opportunity for a Civil Engineer Designer I with our Site/Land Development Engineering Team in our Valencia office.

Your Role:

As a Civil Engineer Designer I, you will utilize your expertise to contribute work performed on Site/Land Development and Public Works projects while working in a team-oriented setting and interacting with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide necessary design, coordination and follow up on work to ensure quality standards are met, efficiency levels are maintained, as well as, client satisfaction
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D software for design
• Demonstrate a commitment to organized approach to work and willingness to ask questions
• Responsible for organizing and executing technical quality and coordination of broad range of project assignments
• Support project work in local land development and infrastructure which includes public and private, sustainable projects while will involve grading, hydraulics, street design

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with 1-3 years of experience
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt with changing priorities
• Self-motivated to work on individual tasks and in a team environment
• Must be able to communicate with verbal and written clarity

Preferred:

• EIT
• Prior experience in site/land development
• Experience using Civl3D
