As one of the top-ranked consulting engineering firms in the nation, providing surveying, engineering, construction management and environmental services, we have an opportunity for a CAD Designer in our Roseville office.

Your Role:

As a CAD Designer, you will utilize your expertise to transform initial rough product designs into working engineering documents under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing preliminary and final maps, BIM models, plans, exhibits and digital data files using appropriate CAD drafting program
  • Arranging engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence of established state, city, and county specifications and standards
  • Assisting in creating base design drawings from agreed work scope. Supports other team members as needed
  • Troubleshooting and resolving 3D software application issues and implement a solution so that project timelines are met

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or Trade School Certification
  • 3-5 years' experience in civil design with knowledge of Civil3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Revit
  • In Depth knowledge of the noted software programs and system requirements for those software packages
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment
