The Plant Operations Manager for our Lakeland, FL plant is a key leadership role in the division, responsible for achieving the goals and metrics of the manufacturing plant. The position is responsible to provide leadership for the overall Operations, Safety, Logistics, Production, Supply Chain, and Quality targets for the site and to drive safety, operational, financial improvement through ITW Enterprise Initiatives (FTB and Strategic Sourcing).
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership -
Leading Safety and Health, as well all legal and compliance requirements for the site
Leading the plant operations to manage and meet plant P&L commitments.

Direct and coordinate site activities to obtain optimum efficiency and economics of operations (continuous improvement).
Participate in the creation of the Annual and Long Range Plan for the Site
Safely manage the site operations in order to meet or exceed production requirements according to resources assigned in Annual Plan (AP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) Plan.
Drive margin improvements - obtain, analyze and improve all the operational KPI’s of the plant by using ITW toolbox (80/20) MRD, PLS) and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Implement space utilization strategy – 80/20 execution in/out manufacturing.
Review production costs and product quality and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of divisions.
Continuously seek and implement cost and waste reduction programs.
Proficient in all company policies and procedures as they are outlined and defined.
People Leadership -
Lead teams and departments under direct responsibility (Maintenance, Production, Sourcing, Planning, HSE, Engineering and Logistics) to establish and deliver on stretch goals.
Review Organization Structure and Talent periodically to ensure ‘fit for purpose’.
Focus and guide Talent Development with the aid of tools available as part of the ‘Great ITW Leader Framework’
Qualifications
Three to five years’ experience as a manufacturing plant leader; good mechanical/chemical aptitude required.
10-15 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably a just in time production cycle
Experience in Chemical Manufacturing with Blending and filling processes.
Strong written/verbal communication skills; good listening skills; a team player who demonstrates the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the Company and who is sensitive to cultural differences.

AECOM is seeking a Construction Project Manager to be based in New York, NY. Will Operate as a Construction Manager working directly with the NYC SCA on projects related to schools throughout New York City and the surrounding boroughs.
Supports overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies
May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors

Provide ongoing interface with contractors, construction managers, local school personnel and Senior Project Officers on project issues; routinely interact with SCA senior managers on such matters.
Participate in the development and issuance of project procedures and policies; review and make recommendations on SCA-wide procedures and policies.
Resolve issues and problems raised in field reports made by architects and construction management staff.

AECOM is seeking a Construction Project Manager to be based in New York, NY. Will Operate as a Construction Manager working directly with the NYC SCA on projects related to schools throughout New York City and the surrounding boroughs.
Supports overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies

Job Description
Identifies, initiates and evaluates continuous process improvement related to safety, ergonomics and quality systems. Provides leadership for process improvement projects, working collaboratively with operational teams.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Work closely with front line managers and shop floor personnel to identify continuous improvement projects to improve manufacturing costs, create capacity and grow business.
Coordinate and lead/run Lean and Kaizen events and training for all team members with a goal of evolving toward a culture of continuous improvement through education, participation and inclusion.
Perform evaluations of shop floor layouts to improve flow. Provide recommendations for change to management, as needed.
Maintain continuous improvement funnel through value stream mapping, facilitating kaizen events and collaborating with and training the team.
Actively support the sustainability of 5S efforts.
Work closely with and support Environmental, Health and Safety and Maintenance personnel on plant projects requiring Process Engineering support.
Improve worker safety and work environment by supporting the USA Safety and plant safety teams through training and evaluation of lifting and movements for ergonomic improvement opportunities.
Support Quality and actively participate in plant scrap reduction by supporting the Quality Control Supervisor in ISO systems and customer complaints.
Identify capital equipment planning and sourcing of equipment and/or automation to improve safety, process or cost by performing ROI analysis and make vs. buy analysis.
Initiate and lead research to develop new and improved manufacturing processing in support of existing businesses and in preparation for new business.
Facilitate and support qualification process and testing process for critical materials including graphite and support engineering. Assure the highest performance of products through supplier quality audits and scorecards for key suppliers.

Education/Experience Bachelor of Science in Engineering, B.S. in Industrial Engineering preferred, plus three (3) years in an industrial/manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Completion of OSHA 10-hour training, ISO Auditor experience, is preferred
Experience with Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt.
Experience or knowledge of ceramics or refractory materials, especially synthetic graphite preferred.
Experience with machining a plus.

The Quality Engineer maintains overall responsibility for supplier's controls and performance monitoring. The QE will also be responsible for the following:
Follows all ISO 9001 quality system requirements and plant safety systems.
